Riverwood Winery is located about 40 miles north of Kansas City and about 7.5 miles north of Weston.

*Please Note -- Do Not Follow the Hwy 45 Detour Route at Weston*

As you travel north from Weston on Hwy 45 watch for these landmarks:

• You will come down from the bluff hills to the river bottomland

• You will cross a small bridge on Hwy 45 over a creek and a second bridge over railroad tracks

• Continue past the large Iatan power plant to the left (west side of Hwy 45)   

• As you continue you will pass Snow Creek Ski Area to the right

• From Snow Creek Ski Area continue for 2.5 miles and the Winery will be on the left

Because of a small rise in the terrain you will not see the Winery until you are within a quarter mile of the Winery. 

We have a large sign in front of the Winery that you cannot miss. 

Directions from the Kansas City Area (from the South):

Take I-29 / US-71 north heading towards the KCI Airport/St Joseph.  Take the Tracy exit -- Exit 20.  Take a left from the exit ramp onto Elm Grove Road and drive back over I-29.  Turn right onto Hwy 273.  Stay on Hwy 273 to Hwy 45.  Turn right on Hwy 45 at the stop light.  Stay on Hwy 45 for approximately 10.5 miles.  Riverwood Winery will be on your left.  The Winery is about 7.5 miles north of Weston and 2.5 miles north of Snow Creek ski area.

Directions from the St Joseph Area (from the North):

Take I-229 S/US – 59S.  Take the US-59/6th Street exit to Atchison St.  Continue to follow US-59 for approximately 17 miles.  US-59 becomes MO-45/MO-273.  Stay on MO-45/ MO-273 for another 5 miles and Riverwood Winery will be on the right.

OR

Take I-29 S to the Tracy exit -- Exit 20.  Turn right onto Hwy 273.  Stay on Hwy 273 to Hwy 45.  Turn right on Hwy 45 at the stop light.  Stay on Hwy 45 for approximately 10.5 miles.  Riverwood Winery will be on your left.  The Winery is about 7.5 miles north of Weston and 2.5 miles north of Snow Creek ski area.

From Atchison, KS

Go East on US-59.  Take a right (south) onto MO-45/MO-273 for 4.9 miles.  Riverwood Winery will be on your right.

From Leavenworth, KS

Take Metropolitan Ave/US-73/KS-7 East and continue to follow Metropolitan Ave for .8 Miles.  Metropolitan Avenue becomes MO-92.  Take MO-92 for 3.9 miles.  Turn left onto MO-45 for 12.6 miles.  Riverwood Winery will be on your left.  The Winery is about 7.5 miles north of Weston and 2.5 miles north of Snow Creek Ski Area.
